As someone who has WAY too many pucches on hand, I have had problems in the past with them getting dull and not punching smoothly. Here is an easy fix - fold a sheet of aluminum foil in two and punch thru it several times. This will sharpen the edges of the punching mechanism. After sharpening, punch thru a sheet of waxed paper several times. This will lubicate the punch for flawless operation every time.
